Meet the Artist

My Story

“On the side of a mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountain ranges, I found the serenity that brings out my creativity like no other place has been able to do.”

I am Laura Corebello, an artist and art teacher. My favorite way to express myself artistically is through painting and photography. My passion is both creating and teaching art.

I have taught art in the public schools of New Jersey and Virginia for 30 years and have written curriculums for NJ and VA private and public schools

It gives me joy to recognize the unlimited potential of creative expression through the eyes of children and nurture this in all of my students. Some of my students have been stimulated to follow careers in art, have earned awards, and have held art shows at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley.

“The “Paint Club” takes place at my home/studio for adults once a month. It is a way to enjoy painting while socializing in a relaxed atmosphere.

I will also accommodate you for a private paint party at your home or desired location. My children’s art classes are at Calvary Episcopal Church at Weber Hall in Front Royal, VA.

Events for Children

Our Kinder-Art, Little Artists, Young Picasso’s and Summer Art classes invite children to explore their creativity through hands-on art projects inspired by the art masters, literature, science and math. With a focus on fun and self-expression, each session offers a small-group environment (2–8 students) to ensure personal attention. Each session is $100 which comprises of four classes.
